Almost met
2014Both went to see *Train* in Birmingham on the same night — “Hey, Soul Sister” playing in the air — but fate had other plans. They were in the same crowd, just *drops of Jupiter* apart.
The first message
July 2022Eight years later, Krystal slid into Ali’s inbox — proving that sometimes, *love don’t cost a thing*. She made the first move, and she’s been *thinking out loud* about her ever since.
The first date
July 2022A day of badminton, Nando’s, and the cinema — the moment they realised, *this will be (an everlasting love)*. Sparks flew faster than a shuttlecock.
Ed Sheeran at Wembley
14/02/2024Before their first date, Krystal had already invited Ali to see Ed Sheeran live. Standing under the Wembley lights, *when your legs don’t work like they used to before*, they danced and laughed — and maybe fell a little in love.
Our First Month
August 2022To mark one month together, Ali took Krystal alpaca walking — because *you can’t hurry love*, but you can walk it at alpaca speed.
Paris for Valentine’s
February 2023Their first Valentine’s Day was *something out of a fairytale*. They wandered through Paris, *underneath the Eiffel Tower lights*, proving *we found love right where we are*.
First Proposal
April 2024Ali got down on one knee — *I don’t wanna miss a thing* playing softly in her head — and Krystal said yes.
Full circle moment
November 2025Ali travelled to the Philippines to meet Krystal’s family and friends. Surrounded by love, laughter, sun and sea Krystal proposed back — *cause baby, you’re all that I want*, and this time, they both said *I choose you*.
